1. Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using AIChat, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are a minor, you may use AIChat only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.
2. The AIChat service
AIChat provides a desktop interface for interacting with artificial intelligence models and related features. The service is currently offered without a subscription fee and without requiring an account.
AIChat may select, replace, add, or remove models and features over time. Model names and trademarks belong to their respective owners; AIChat is not affiliated with or endorsed by those model providers unless expressly stated.
3. Network contribution
When you accept the in-app network usage consent, AIChat may run in the background, start automatically with your device, connect to network infrastructure, and use your internet connection to relay web traffic. This can consume bandwidth and data and may affect connection performance.
The application may check locally whether certain other bandwidth-sharing applications are running. AIChat uses that check to derive a general connection-quality classification; it does not transmit the complete list of your running processes.
You may decline the network usage consent, disable automatic startup through your operating system, or stop participation by closing and uninstalling AIChat. Declining required consent may prevent use of the free service.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- use AIChat only on a device and internet connection you are authorized to use;
- check whether your internet provider, workplace, school, or network administrator permits bandwidth sharing or proxy traffic;
- monitor any data limits, roaming charges, or other connection costs that apply to you;
- avoid submitting content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, deceptive, or designed to harm systems or people; and
- not interfere with, reverse engineer, bypass, or misuse the service, its safeguards, or its network infrastructure, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
5. AI-generated output
AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, offensive, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing output before using or sharing it.
Do not rely on AIChat as a substitute for qualified professional advice in medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other high-risk matters. AIChat does not guarantee that output is unique or that you will own exclusive rights in it.
6. Third-party services
AIChat depends on third-party model providers, hosting, update delivery, network infrastructure, and other technical services. Your use of those services may also be subject to their terms and policies. AIChat is not responsible for third-party services outside its control.

7. Availability, updates, and changes to the service
The service is provided on an evolving basis. AIChat may issue automatic updates, modify features, impose usage limits, interrupt access for maintenance or security, or discontinue part or all of the service. Continuous availability, compatibility, and error-free operation are not guaranteed.
8. Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, AIChat is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.
Liability is unlimited for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, fraudulent concealment, guaranteed characteristics, and liability under mandatory product-liability law. For ordinary negligence involving an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to the foreseeable loss typical for this agreement. Otherwise, liability for ordinary negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
9. Suspension and ending use
You may stop using AIChat at any time and uninstall the application. AIChat may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service.
Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including liability limitations and governing-law provisions, remain effective.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated to reflect changes to AIChat, third-party services, or legal requirements. The effective date above will be revised when changes are published. Material changes will be communicated through the website or application where reasonably possible.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by German law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence remain unaffected. Statutory rules determine the competent courts.
